In this program, the students will be equipped with talents and skills to design, manufacture, control, and manage the industrial process equipment and systems. The program covers the traditionally and emerging disciplines, including mechanical design and manufacturing, electrical and electronic technology, vacuum technology, computer and automatic control theory, engineering mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, process equipment, and industrial process design and control. Students can also select the courses in related disciplines, such as vacuum system control, and film process equipment, to acquire specialized knowledge and basic skills in process equipment and control.

Graduates of the program will be competitive in development, engineering, and managing in the fields of machinery, chemical industry, light industry, environmental protection, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, aerospace, nuclear power, high-energy physics and other relevant industries.
