On the evening of April 11^th, our school held the second "scientist spirit" sharing and exchange meeting in Room 513, Mechanical Building, Tunxi road campus. This event invited three students, namely, Yixiang Wang, a graduate student in industrial engineering; Manting Rao, a graduate student at the institute of industrial and equipment technology; Chang Xu, a graduate student at the institute of noise and vibration to share relevant scientists’ spirit and deeds. During the meeting, Yixiang Wang told the story of academician Xueseng Qian. At the same time, it also allows students to understand the development history and achievements of science and technology in China. Chang Xu introduced the research deeds of academician Dayou Ma. In the end, Manting Rao introduced to everyone how scientists study the characteristics of IPMC materials and apply them in fields such as biomedicine and bionic machinery.

This event aims to encourage graduate students to establish the correct spiritual concept of scientists and to develop rigorous and realistic scientific research habits
