Chen Yunfei graduated from Hefei University of Technology in 1991, majoring in mechanics.
He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Southeast University. Also, He is the winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2009, the distinguished professor of the Yangtze River Scholars. He was selected as the third level of the third "333 High-level Talents Training Project" and the second level of the fourth "333 High-level Talents Training Project" in Jiangsu Province. He is mainly engaged in the research of micro-nano medical devices and micro-nano electromechanical systems. As the first person in charge, he presided over and completed six projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, four of which were rated as excellent, three projects of the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, one major project of 863 MEMS and one major national basic research plan. At present, he presides over one key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one major national basic research plan. He has published more than 60 academic papers included in SCI in international academic journals such as Nature Nanotechnology and Nano Letters, which has been cited by other researchers more than 1000 times.
