The Department of Engineering Graphics of Hefei University of Technology was established in 1945. Currently, there are 15 teachers in the department, who undertake all the courses related to engineering graphics for undergraduate and graduate students of the university (more than 100 classes and all courses on three campuses).

The Department of Engineering Graphics has been honored with the title of "Advanced Teaching Unit in Anhui Province." The course "Engineering Graphics" has been recognized as a "Quality Course of School," "Anhui Provincial Key Construction Course," "Quality Course of Anhui Province" and "QualityResources Sharing Class of Anhui Province." The teaching team for engineering graphics has been named a "University-level Teaching Team" and "Anhui Provincial-level Teaching Team."
